SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--Western New England University men's cross country coach Brian Walsh announced four major award winners for the program during Sunday's Golden Bears Athletics fall sports banquet held at Rivers Memorial Hall: senior Patrick Fitzgerald as the team MVP, senior Pat O'Rourke as the Coaches' Award recipient, freshman Thomas Carroll as the most improved runner and freshman Eric Murphy as the rookie of the year.
